Our senior partner, Mike Catalinotto, has been a central member of the firm since joining it in 1961. Working out of both our Albany office, and our Saugerties office which he established in 1967, Mike has been an intelligent, intense litigator, earning himself the highest possible Martindale Hubbell ranking of AV from his fellow practitioners.
Throughout his many years with Maynard, O’Connor, Mike has handled complex litigation, medical malpractice, products liability, municipal law, commercial litigation, and general liability for the firm. He has also apportioned a part of his practice in service to the greater Saugerties region, in the areas of real estate, business and commercial transactions, wills, and estate law and administration.
In 1995 Michael E. Catalinotto’s name was added to the firm’s letterhead, in recognition of his decades of exemplary legal service on behalf of the firm throughout the Greater Capital District region, and south to New York City.
Mike has been active for many years in his hometown of Saugerties, as a former Town Justice and attorney for the Town. He has been a member and chairman of the Board of Trustees for Kingston Hospital, on the Board of Directors for Kingston Regional Health Care Systems, and a delegate and secretary of the Republican Judicial Convention. He is a member of the Ulster County Charter Commission and a member of the Board of Trustees for SUNY New Paltz.
Mike is a member of the Albany County, Ulster County, New York State (Executive Committee for Insurance, Negligence and Compensation section), and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the American Judicature Society and Trial Lawyers Association, and served on the Advisory Committee on Civil Practices Law & Rules for the Office of Court Administration. |
