A native of Gloversville, NY, Concetta has been with Maynard, O’Connor, Smith & Catalinotto since 1986, a partner since 1993. While based primarily in our main Albany, NY office, Concetta also maintains an office in Johnstown, NY, where her primary focus is personal injury litigation, representing individuals and families who have been injured, for example, as a result of automobile & truck accidents, defective products, wrongful death, slip and falls, and construction or work site accidents.

When in the Albany office, the majority of Concetta’s time is spent handling complex litigation in the area of medical, hospital and dental malpractice cases, solely handling those cases for the defense. Concetta also defends labor law, municipal law, motor vehicle accidents, products liability and general liability cases. Concetta has earned a Peer Review Rating of “BV” - high to very high legal ability and very high ethical standards - as established by confidential opinions from fellow members of the Bar and Judiciary. Concetta has 20 years of trial experience in both State and Federal Courts.

Concetta has served as a Mediator in the area of litigation and has been a lecturer in numerous continuing legal education programs for attorneys and continuing medical education programs for physicians and hospitals. Concetta was a founding member of the Greater Capital District Chapter of the National Italian-American Bar Association and serves as a Board Member. Concetta was appointed as a member of the Independent Judicial Election Qualifications Commission for the Fourth Judicial District. She is a member of the Albany County Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association (Trial Lawyers Section), American Bar Association, the Fulton County Bar Association, and the Capital District Women’s Bar Association. Concetta is also a member of the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce, the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, and the New York Medical Group Management Association.

Prior to law school, Concetta competed in the Miss New York State Scholarship Pageant, a preliminary to the Miss America Scholarship Pageant, was voted Miss Congeniality by the competing contestants, and continues to serve as an Official Judge of the Greater Fulton County Scholarship Pageant. Concetta lives in Slingerlands with her husband, Charlie Youngblood, and their two children, Nicholas and Alexandra.
